DESCRIPTION:Research supports the effectiveness of mindfulness training in 
 enhancing wellbeing by increasing self acceptance and decreasing anxiety\,
  stress and depression. This programme is based on Jon Kabat Zinn’s Mindfu
 lness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR ) programme. Studies have shown that te
 aching mindfulness to nurses\, doctors and other caregivers reduces burnou
 t and assists in maintaining empathy. This course is also open to interest
 ed members of the public. Kovido Maddick will facilitate this training cou
 rse. Kovido has many years of experience in facilitating mindfulness train
 ing.\nA workbook is included in the cost. Downloads for at-home practice w
 ill also be provided to support the training. Minimum numbers will apply.
