Research supports the effectiveness of mindfulness training in enhancing wellbeing by increasing self acceptance and decreasing anxiety, stress and depression. This programme is based on Jon Kabat Zinn’s Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR ) programme. Studies have shown that teaching mindfulness to nurses, doctors and other caregivers reduces burnout and assists in maintaining empathy. This course is also open to interested members of the public. Kovido Maddick will facilitate this training course. Kovido has many years of experience in facilitating mindfulness training.
A workbook is included in the cost. Downloads for at-home practice will also be provided to support the training. Minimum numbers will apply.
