Managing Stress Through Mindfulness
Mindfulness Training is now being used around the world to help reduce stress, worry, anxiety, depression and Insomnia. When brought into daily life it allows us to respond to situations that life presents us with rather than responding in habitual ways.
It increases the ability to problem solve, to relate to others more sensitively and appropriately and enhances our general sense of well-being.
It has also been found to enable people to recover more quickly from serious illnesses and major operations. Kovido has been leading Mindfulness trainings since 1996.
The training generally takes place over 8 weeks and can be done in groups or individually. The Training includes 8 sessions of theory and tuition, CDs to practice mindfulness exercises at home and a workbook.

I have a very stressful job teaching small children. At lunchtime I would practice mindfulness for 15 minutes and return refreshed and relaxed for the afternoon.
